In this episode of The Mailbox I retire from the world of a capella Dubstep, and explain to Jacket Bucketshoe exactly the kind of Gravity Falls video game I would like to play!
In this episode of The Mailbox, I answer Jacket Bucketshoe’s question: “if a gravity falls video game is made, what kind of video game should it be? and what consoles would be be put on?”
The good news is, there are already a ton of great Gravity Falls games available for fans to play online and on mobile devices! One of the best of that series is PinesQuest, which puts you in the shoes of Dipper and Mabel Pines as they try to find their way out of a video game. PinesQuest is self aware and a great lampoon of top down isometric adventure games.
So an extended PinesQuest would make a great choice for a video game, but if I needed to work from the ground up on a new AAA video game title for Gravity Falls, I would use the format of the Sly Cooper franchise! Using individual characters one at a time to pull off elaborate schemes or uncover mysteries! Each level would play like it’s own separate story!
But what do you think? What would you like from a Gravity Falls Video Game? Sound off in the comments below with your two cents!
