Mailbox What I Want To Happen Cover

In this episode of The Mailbox, I start things off by answering a question mailed in by Connor Kurtz: What is my favorite video game?

Rather than just sharing one, I shared the top 5 video games of all time! Ranking at #5 is Lunar The Silver Star, a Sega CD RPG with great music, story, and animation. #4 was Who Framed Roger Rabbit for the NES. This game may have some big flaws, but it does do a good job of making the player feel like a detective given the HUGE limitations of the NES at the time. #3 is Theme Hospital, a management sim that tasks you with designing and running your own hospital. #2 is FTL or Faster Than Light. Another management sim, this one casts you as the captain of a spaceship fleeing an enemy armada! And the #1 video game of all time is DuckTales for both the NES and the Remastered edition for current gen consoles!

Member #0035 Michelle Lee asked how long will the Royal Order of the Holy Mackerel live on – and the answer is that it will continue as long as I have an audience for it. I would like The Royal Order of the Holy Mackerel to continue to be a welcome center for new and existing fans of Gravity Falls for generations to come. As the show ends, and I move onto other projects, I hope to have at least 2 live meetings a year to sit back and chat about Gravity Falls.

And NevilleFan17 asks: What would I like to see happen before the end of Gravity Falls? I would like to see a lot of things happen in Gravity Falls. I would like to see the origin of Gideon Gleeful, and I would like to see more strong female characters get introduced. I would like to see more cryptozoological entities introduced in the show – but most of all, I want Gravity Falls to have more shorts between seasons 2 and 3!

Be sure to keep asking me questions, and sending me cool stuff to share on the show! Also, thanks for watching! Hey, it’s Doug again. Thanks for reading this About section! I was too tied up this week to make a challenge or a reward – but I do want to let you know that the Mystery Shack Mug I designed is on sale! The first 10 people to buy one will get 5 dollars off!
