Welcome, Crying Breakfast Friends, to this reaction video for Steven Universe Season Two Episode Twenty Four, It Could’ve Been Great! The way I conduct my reaction videos is different than other YouTubers. Each is comprised of three parts: A prediction of what I will see, my reaction to what I see, and a Snap Analysis – my unscripted analysis of the episode right on the heels of watching it!

It Could’ve Been Great again follows on the heels of the previous episode of Steven Universe, and begins with the Crystal Gems taking a well deserved break. Peridot questions Steven Universe’s choice to relax and play music, but eventually learns the worth and value of this activity.

The Crystal Gems then realize that since the drill has been completed, they will need to pinpoint the location of the Cluster in order to destroy it. Unfortunately they lack the tools to find it’s location on Earth, so they travel with the aid of Lion to a secret base on the moon for the information!

After investigating the Moon Base, Steven Universe, Peridot, Pearl, Amethyst, and Garnet discover the control room. Peridot quickly activates the ancient technology and finds the location of The Cluster. But questions why it should be destroyed. She brings up the ultimate plan of the Diamonds, to hollow out the Earth and use its resources to further the conquest of the universe!

The gems react coldly to this, and leave the Moon Base, but not before Peridot picks up a mysterious piece of gem technology!
